International Dot Day!
This week in art, every grade celebrated National Dot Day by reading The Dot by Peter Reynolds. We talked about how to inspire others, how to spread acts of kindness, and how to make our positive mark at Byam. Next, we made our own dot using analogous colors on the color wheel (colors that are next to each other) with oil pastels and tempera paints. We talked about how to create a resist, and how water and oil don't mix so the pastels show up on top. Check out the beautiful artwork below!
