4th Grade Gustav Klimt Self-Portraits

4th Graders created scratch-art self-portraits this week. We started by learning about Gustav Klimt and his artwork. He used many different geometric and organic shapes when creating his portraits. Students noticed the difference between these shapes and were able to draw them onto their final piece. I took a picture of each student first and then they glued their face and hands onto a black scratch art board. Then, they used tools to scratch out the silver behind.
