Who ever said ice cream was only allowed in the summer? Don't these make you want some ice cream right about now? I definitely do!
Second Graders learned about Wayne Thiebaud and then created chalk pastel ice cream cones of their own. We talked about the shadows in Thiebaud's artwork and learned how he uses thick paint to make his ice cream cones and cakes look realistic. Here are some of Wayne Thiebaud's paintings and ours below! Awesome job Second Graders!
